We’re ending 2018 with a bang!

2018 was a huge year for BECODE. We launched our first online tool, BECODE BCA, added team members, partnered with like-minded organisations and began building our collaborative online community. It was a year full of incredible feedback, challenging questions and overall, a whole lot of fun.

With the end of year break just around the corner, we’ve worked right down to the line to bring our users an early Christmas present. So here it is! Your two most requested features, ready to use.

Sections F-J are finally here!

That’s right! We’ve added the remaining sections of the BCA. There isn’t much to explain when it comes to this. Just like sections C, D and E, BECODE BCA will filter out the parts that it has deemed irrelevant, and you’ll be able to edit the provisions.

We’ve also changed the layout of you project specific building code slightly, both in response to your feedback on our new user interface and to facilitate some of the other features we’ve enabled.

We’ve created a sharing feature that will allow you to share your projects with other users, this will help teams collaborate on projects more effectively, and with the addition of our final new feature, will help ensure everyone is on the same page about a project’s compliance.

Existing users: Your free trial has been extended

For those who have been using BECODE for the last few months on our ‘indefinite free trial’, we’ve been able to extend that free trial until 20th January 2019.  If you subscribe to our Basic plan before that date, your access to BECODE BCA will remain unchanged. You will still be able to use BECODE BCA without being on this plan, but you won’t be able to save or share your projects.

If you’re subscribed to the Basic plan, you’ll also receive exclusive access to test our note taking and categorisation feature before it goes to market later in 2019. This is a great tool that has been designed to give users and teams a better sense of where their project is at in terms of NCC compliance.

We’re excited to be bringing you some of your most requested additions to BECODE BCA before 2018 is out, but we’re even more excited to share what we have planned for 2019.
